Graphic Design
Web & Digital Media Design

Sculpture has always been a big part of my life, especially ceramics. Throughout school I Developed my skills in three-dimensional mediums such as metal work, ceramics, glass work, basket weaving, and others as I learned the principles of three-dimensional design. I submitted a portfolio to the AP College Board for 3-D Art and Design, it incorporated 30 unique sculptures with a focus of 10 in ceramics, and received a 4 out of 5. When I graduated I was touring all of these schools to pursue sculpture farther, but I stumbled upon graphic design. Seeing that design had the same amount of creative freedom, but also a way to incorporate your work into the world to solve problems or evoke emotions, was what really made me passionate. Studying Graphic design has led me into Web and digital media design as well. I’m experienced in the freelance world, but aim to find a spot in a creative team where ideas can be pushed to their fullest possible potential.

Kinoko Kids

Kinoko Kids came about when two friends, a toy maker and a vintage seller, decided to create a special place where kids could come to shop, learn, and create in Minneapolis. I wanted to portray that special place for kids everywhere, not just Minneapolis. The organic shapes and drawings I created compliment the handmade vintage toys in a way that makes the website fun to shop, learn, and create for the whole family anywhere in America.

War Child Campaign

War Child works toward a world in which no child’s life is torn apart by war. They are committed to supporting these children to overcome their experiences, and have a real chance at a better future. This campaign aims to bring that reality to you, War Child would take family photos from their followers page and edit them to make it look like they are in these war torn places. This half and half slider shows what the reality could be, and would be a shock factor to donate.

Voodoo Music & Art Festival

Voodoo Music & Art Festival is a multi-day music and arts festival held in New Orleans, Louisiana over Halloween weekend. Voodoo has hosted more than 2000 artists and over 1 million festival goers and always has a wide variety of genres. I aimed to let the wide variety of genres influence the visual direction. Creating day of the dead patterns, tarot card like illustrations and spooky videos captured the culture of this festival and hinted at the great time to be had.

89.9FM WORT Listen Up

WORT is a non-commercial, listener-sponsored, member controlled community radio station, broadcasting in Madison, Wi. They are a monument amongst the community and do so much just to broadcast what we want to listen to. I wanted to boost the sense of community between the station and our city, as well as portray how important the city is to WORT. Every image used in this piece was taken in Madison to make it that much more familiar to their listeners.

Datpiff Redesign

Datpiff is the authority in free mixtapes, during my extensive history with the Samsung Galaxy lineup this was the only way to download new music to listen to. After finally switching to Apple I realized how easy it was to access and download all of the newest music. I knew datpiff had the potential to fulfill all of the frustrations Galaxy users ran into when it came to music, but it needed to actually take those users into account when trying to improve the app overtime.
