Visual Communications

Combining storytelling and visuals is one of the most powerful ways we communicate with each other, and after a career in the culinary industry reaching people through food, I entered the Visual Communications program with the goal of expanding my ability to make meaningful connections through a medium with a far wider reach.
Volunteering in my community gave me the extra incentive to sharpen my focus on the people and the issues right here in Madison, and since video is an integral means by which we connect with each other, I’m excited to make a difference by using the valuable skills I’ve gained in the program.
