Thank you for considering an MATC Graphic Design student for employment as an intern at your business. Its a win-win situation for everyone.

Our interns are primarily taken from the final semester students who are finessing their portfolios. They have a grade point of 3.0 or higher and are required to work 72 hours in an internship to receive one credit. A paid internship usually results in a student working many more hours throughout the semester and incorporating their internship as a part-time job. Our students are proficient in Quark, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Some also have knowledge of Web Design software. In a few cases, if a student is advanced in knowledge and maturity, they may be placed in an internship before they reach their final semester in the program.

I would like employers requesting an intern to please fill out the following form at the beginning of every semester that you would like an intern. I would also like to request that detailed communications be sent to me by e-mail instead of by phone. Written information helps to ensure clarity on everyone’s part and is easier to organize in my files. Don’t hesitate to call though if you feel the need. Thank You!
