My name is Alina. That’s uh-lee-nuh, not uh-lie-nuh. I'm a creative and adventurous Graphic Designer and Illustrator who wants to flood the world with my art.
I've always known I had a creative touch ever since I was "young" (I can't say "little" because... you know). I was the 7-year-old drawing dolphins and Oompa Loompa's while other children my age were playing video games and watching Scooby Doo.
My amazing American mother and father adopted me from Novorossiysk, Russia at the age of 5 alongside my twin sister (sumasshedshiy, ya znayu!). I was born only weighing about one pound and that is why you can call me small fry! I've overcome huge hurdles from Russia to the United States, which is why I have the strength to achieve anything I put my mind to.
I created PSA posters aimed at bringing awareness to Anorexia Nervosa. I staged plates with different foods and photographed them. Next, I brought them into Adobe Photoshop and added typography that best suited the campaign and the company logo.
Using product photos from the World Market website, I designed a catalog displaying products for sale. I designed my own touch of art for the cover and pages and chose respectful fonts to compliment the artwork.
I designed a weather application using Illustrator and Photoshop. I drew the characters in Illustrator as vector artwork. I wanted each character to have their own expression with some humor added.
I designed a website for TexZen Tiny Home Co. The website features street signs and luggage to give it a feeling of freedom and travel.
Using InDesign, I created a menu for the Square Grouper in Florida. The restaurant menu has a relaxed yet sophisticated feel. I used typography that compliments the design.
