I'm a storyteller, editor, and motion graphic artist. I have a passion for creating visual stories, whether it's promotional videos, interviews, or short films. I am currently working on a web series that incorporates everything I’ve learned in school as well as new things along the way. I’ve helped create characters, storylines, recruited and directed actors, created motion graphics based off episode needs, and collaborated with multiple people to see this project come to life over the last 2 years. I have a Marketing Associate degree from WCTC and in December (2017) will have a Visual Communications Associate degree from Madison College. These two degrees, along with my sales experience and passion for creating stories, sets me apart from others in my field.
I sat down with Fire Chief Jim Bandsma, Josh Miller, and Ben Carpenter of the Horicon volunteer Fire Department to talk about what they do for the community and their experiences within the department.
In the pilot episode of What the Font?! I sat down via webcam with Ben Barrett-Forrest, the art director at the Globe and Mail Newspaper in Toronto, Canada. We talked about the importance of typography and discuss Ben’s favorite font.
I was given the opportunity to create a promotional piece for the EAA AirVenture Museum is Oshkosh, WI. I interviewed museum director, Bob Campbell, and discussed the history of the museum, special exhibits at the museum, and what to experience when visiting the museum.
