I have always had a strong interest in film and the visual arts. I started seriously exploring that interest in high school and continued my passion after graduation by attending UW-Milwaukee in Film Production. I soon realized that although I had the drive, I was lacking the foundational soft skills required to truly succeed in film production. I ended up taking some time to grow personally and professionally and my journey eventually took me to Madison College. During my time at Madison College, I was able to fuel my childhood passion and grow my technical skills. I now have an in-depth knowledge of the Adobe Suite, the ability to set-up and strike a production set, extensive knowledge of the different equipment used for media production and have had the opportunity to work with actual clients within and outside of a classroom setting.
The Tasting Room of Monona is a Wine and Cigar bar located in the heart of Monona, WI. This a promotional piece I created highlighting this unique shop. I collaborated with my client in developing the story, filming, editing and interviewing for this piece.
This is an internal promotional piece I created for a new Resilience Program at UW Health. I met with the Wellness Department to understand their hopes and ideas for the video. Once the concept was fleshed out I created a storyboard, had it approved by the public relations department, coordinated the filming, managed the interview shoots with two students from Madison College and edited the production. The introduction animation was created by Ryan Vann, a Madison College graduate.
This is an educational video on the history of the Ampersand (&). Production of this video included: researching the topic, scriptwriting, narrating the audio, shooting and editing the footage of the video. This was an eye-opening experience as it was the first time I used a green screen in a production.
